You might have noticed that the about page is one of the most visited pages of your blog. Yes, visitors want to know about the person behind a blog.

One of the easiest ways to let visitors know about yourself is to have an ‘About Me’ widget in your sidebar or footer. The sidebar is the most prominent place for that.

Adding ‘About Me’ Widget on WordPress

To add an ‘About Me’ widget, go to your WordPress Dashboard first. Then click on ‘Widgets’ from the Appearance menu.

Now click on the + sign under ‘Main Sidebar’ and search for the ‘Paragraph’ block. Then click on it.

Then give a name to your widget and change the font size.

Now click on the + sign again and search for the ‘Image’ block. And click on the block.

Then upload your image and make it rounded.

Then add the ‘Paragraph’ block again and write about yourself.

That’s it. Your ‘about me’ widget is ready. Don’t forget to click on the ‘Update’ button to save the widget.
